31 tests +ve in Cachar on Tuesday, tally reaches 10,937

Dec. 1: On Tuesday, a total of 31 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Cachar. During the day, a total of 2066 Rapid Antigen Tests (RAT) were done, out of which, 25 persons were found positive, whereas 06 more were detected positive in RT-PCR Test. This was informed by Dr. Ibrahim Ali Ahmed, District Surveillance Officer (DSO), IDSP, Cachar on Tuesday night. It needs mention here that the number of positive cases crossed 30 after almost a fortnight.

With this, the district tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 10,937. Further, a total of 10,756 patients were discharged in the district as of now. Cachar registered a total of 37 COVID-19 deaths till now. At present, there are 144 active cases in the district. It needs mention here that 17 persons were found positive in Cachar on Sunday.
