308 tests Covid-19 +ve in Assam on Wednesday, 01 death registered

Oct. 20: On Wednesday, out of 39,654 tests, 308 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 6,07,427. The positivity rate in the state is 0.78 percent. Kamrup (Metro) district registered 10 positive cases during the day. Further, on Wednesday, 01 died in the state due to COVID-19. The death toll in the state stands at 5,958. The recovery rate is 98.42 percent.

It needs mention here that on Tuesday, 353 persons tested positive in Assam and no deaths were registered.
