3 test Covid +ve in Hailakandi on Monday, 6 discharged

Aug 16: Hailakandi registered 03 new COVID-19 cases on Monday, which was found positive during Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) whereas none were detected positive in RT-PCR test. The district has altogether 31 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 1,137 RAT tests and 93 RT-PCR tests were done. 06 patients were discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,854 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 2,135 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that 03 persons were found positive in Hailakandi on Monday. Till date, 51 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district. Further, during the day, 3,071 persons were administered Covid-19 vaccines.
