3 found Covid+ve in Hailakandi & none in Karimganj on Wednesday

Dec. 29: Hailakandi is gradually inching towards a Covid free district. On Wednesday, Hailakandi registered 03 new COVID-19 cases. The district has altogether has 17 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 757 RAT tests and 52 RT-PCR tests were done. No patient was discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,945 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,501 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that 01 person was found positive in Hailakandi on Tuesday. Till date, 51 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district.  A total of 1,263 persons were vaccinated on Wednesday.

Karimganj registered no fresh COVID case on Wednesday. The district has currently 11 active COVID cases, while 03 patients were discharged on Wednesday. 525 swab samples were collected during the day. It needs mention here that 03 persons were detected positive in Karimganj on Wednesday.
