3 COVID-19 patients discharged in Assam, total 57 discharged

May 23: Amidst the rising number of coronavirus positive cases in the state, there is something to cheer about as three COVID-19 patients were discharged on Saturday. One patient was discharged from Mahendra Mohan Choudhury Hospital (MMCH), Guwahati after testing negative twice. Further, Dr Deepa Deka of Regional Dental College, Guwahati, infected with coronavirus in line of duty, has been discharged from GMCH after testing negative twice. Another woman patient also relieved, taking the total discharged no to 57. However, State Health Minister, Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma stated a line of caution for all. He tweeted, “Request all to strictly adhere to government advisories.”
