273 new cases detected in Assam on Friday, state tally rises to 6919

June 26: On Friday night, a total of 273 COVID-19 positive cases were reported from across Assam. With this, the state tally of novel coronavirus cases has gone upto 6919, out of which, 2660 are active cases. Further on Friday itself, 214 patients were also discharged. Sharing this information, State Health Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted, “273 new #COVID19+ cases detected in Assam today. Guwahati city alone sees a surge of 203 cases today and time for us to follow lockdown instructions. Your cooperation is vital.”
