2628 patients discharged in Assam on Friday

Sept. 11: On Friday, 2628 patients were discharged in Assam. With this,a total of 1,08,329 patients were discharged in the state as of now. At present, there are 29,577 active cases in the state. In a tweet, State Health Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, “”2628 patients discharged today. So many patients recovering & getting discharged everyday keeps our confidence intact. I request people to stay hopeful.”

Also, 2534 new COVID-19 cases were reported from Assam during the day. With this, the state tally of novel coronavirus has now gone upto 1,38,339. Further, 16 more deaths due to COVID-19 were registered in the state, thereby taking the death toll to 430.
