2,167 tests Covid-19 +ve in Assam on Sunday, 36 deaths registered

June 13: On Sunday, out of 1,00,455 tests, 2,167 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 4,59,497. The positivity rate in the state is 2.16 percent. Kamrup (Metro) district registered 226 positive cases during the day. Further, on Sunday, 36 more persons lost their lives in the state due to COVID-19. With this, the death toll in the state reached 3,951. The recovery rate is 90.14 percent.

It needs mention here that on Saturday, 3,666 persons tested positive in Assam and 29 deaths were registered.
