214 tests Covid-19 +ve in Assam on Wednesday, 245 discharged & 2 deaths registered

Nov. 24: On Wednesday, out of 32,531 tests, 214 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 6,15,995. The positivity rate in the state is 0.66 percent. Kamrup (Metro) district registered 123 positive cases during the day. Further, on Wednesday, 02 died in the state due to COVID-19. The death toll in the state stands at 6,081. The recovery rate is 98.54 percent. Also, 245 patients were discharged during the day. At present, there are 1,596 active cases in the state.

It needs mention here that on Tuesday, 207 persons tested positive in Assam and 02 deaths were registered.
