2 found Covid +ve in Cachar on Monday, 29 active cases in the district

Aug 22: The District Health Department updated the Covid-19 data of Monday. As per the latest data, only 02 persons (0 RT-PCR & 02 RAT) were found positive in the district on 22 August, 2022. At present, 29 positive patients in the district have opted for home isolation while none have taken admission in hospitals. Further,10 persons were discharged during the day.

As per the updated data, a total of 53 Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) were done, out of which, 02 persons were found positive, whereas no one was detected positive out of 05 RT-PCR Test. With this, the total number of active Covid cases stands at 29. On Sunday, 02 persons were detected as Covid positive in Cachar.

During this phase (1 July, 2022 onwards) till now 920 positive cases were detected and 890 were discharged in the district of Cachar. During this phase, a total of 01 death was registered. The deceased, a resident of Silchar died at GNRC, Guwahati.
