2 found Covid positive in Hailakandi & none in Karimganj on Monday

Sept. 27: Hailakandi is gradually inching towards a Covid free district. On Monday, Hailakandi registered 02 new COVID-19 case. The district has altogether 07 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 273 RAT tests and 44 RT-PCR tests were done. 03 patients were discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,893 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,463 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that no person was found positive in Hailakandi on Sunday. Till date, 51 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district.  A total of 950 persons were vaccinated on Monday.

Karimganj registered no fresh COVID cases on Monday. The district has currently 08 active COVID cases, while 02 patients has been discharged from hospitals and home isolation on Monday. 1,359 swab samples were collected during the day.
