396 tests Covid-19 +ve in Assam on Friday, 569 discharged & 05 deaths registered

Sept. 10: On Friday, out of 76,432 tests, 396 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 5,94,347. The positivity rate in the state is 0.52 percent. Kamrup (Metro) district registered 70 positive cases during the day. Further, on Friday, 05 more persons lost their lives in the state due to COVID-19. With this, the death toll in the state reached 5,732. The recovery rate is 98.02 percent.

It needs mention here that on Thursday, 437 persons tested positive in Assam and 04 deaths were registered.

On Friday, 569 patients were discharged in Assam. With this, a total of 5,82,586 patients got cured and were subsequently discharged from various hospitals and Covid Care centres across the state. This was confirmed in a tweet by NHM, Assam.  At present, there are 4,682 active cases in the state.

Further, during the day, 05 patients died in Assam due to COVID-19. Out of the 05 deceased, 02 of them are from from Morigaon; 01 each from Bongaigaon, Kamrup Metro & Tinsukia . The death tally of the state now stands at 5,732.
