198 found Covid +ve in Assam, 400 discharged & 5 deaths registered on Monday

Feb. 14: On Monday, out of 32,260 tests, 198 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 7,23,693. The positivity rate in the state is 0.61 percent. Kamrup (Metro) district registered 46 positive cases during the day. Further, on Monday, 05 died in the state due to COVID-19. The death toll in the state stands at 6,610. The recovery rate is 98.58 percent. Also, 400 persons were discharged during the day. There are at present 2,292 active Covid patients in the state.

It needs mention here that on Sunday, 79 persons tested positive in Assam and 04 deaths were registered.
