1904 patients discharged in Assam on Thursday
Oct. 1: On Thursday, 1904 patients were discharged in Assam. With this, a total of 1,47,519 patients got cured and were subsequently discharged from various hospitals and Covid Care Centres in the state. At present, there are 34,163 active cases in Assam. In a tweet, State Health Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, “1904 patients discharged today. I applaud the medical team for its 24*7 service, from testing to treatment of patients. God bless you all!”
On Thursday, a total of 39,780 tests were done in the state, out of which, 1585 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive. With this, the state tally of novel coronavirus has now gone upto 1,82,396. Further, during the day, another 14 persons died due to COVID-19, thereby taking the death toll of the state to 711.
