Passenger woes continue on the Hill Section

way2barak, Aug 11: Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) continues restoration work near New Harangajao station following the settlement of railway tracks (Line-1 and Line-2). Train operations over the Lumding–Badarpur Hill Section are being maintained through Line-3 with enhanced safety measures in place. In view of the ongoing restoration work, NFR has announced the following additional changes in train services:

Cancellation of Trains:

 Train No. 15617 (Guwahati – Dullabcherra) Express commencing journey on 12.08.2026 has been cancelled between Guwahati and Dullabcherra.

 Train No. 15618 (Dullabcherra – Guwahati) Express commencing journey on 13.08.2026   has been cancelled between Dullabcherra and Guwahati.

 Train No. 15615 (Guwahati – Silchar) Express commencing journey on 12.08.2026 has been  cancelled between Guwahati and Silchar.

 Train No. 15616 (Silchar – Guwahati) Express commencing journey on 13.08.2026 has been cancelled between Silchar and Guwahati.

Rescheduling of Trains:

 Train No. 15650 (Narangi – Agartala) Express commencing journey on 12.08.2026 has been rescheduled to depart from Narangi at 22:30 hrs.

 Train No. 15649 (Agartala – Narangi) Express commencing journey on 12.08.2026 has  been rescheduled to depart from Agartala at 23:30 hrs.

 Train No. 15609 (Guwahati – Sairang) Express commencing journey on 12.08.2026 has been rescheduled to depart from Guwahati at 23:30 hrs.

 Train No. 15610 (Sairang – Guwahati) Express commencing journey on 12.08.2026 has been rescheduled to depart from Sairang at 21:30 hrs.

 Train No. 15611 (Rangiya – Silchar) Express commencing journey on 12.08.2026 has been rescheduled to depart from Rangiya at 23:30 hrs.

 Train No. 15612 (Silchar – Rangiya) Express commencing journey on 12.08.2026 has been  rescheduled to depart from Silchar at 05:00 hrs on 13.08.2026.

 Train No. 15646 (Silchar – Charlapalli) Express commencing journey on 12.08.2026 has  been rescheduled to depart from Silchar at 04:10 hrs on 13.08.2026.

Regulation of Train:

 Train No. 17031 (Charlapalli – Agartala) Express commencing journey on 10.08.2026 will be regulated enroute suitably.
