1813 patients discharged in Assam on Saturday
Oct. 3: On Saturday, 1813 persons were discharged in Assam. With this, a total of 1,50,773 patients got cured and were subsequently discharged in the state. At present, there are 33,933 active cases in Assam. In a tweet, State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, “1813 patients discharged today. Please take care of yourself & your families. Three simple rules~ Use Mask Sanitise & follow Social Distancing.”
On Saturday, 1632 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now reached 1,85,444. Moreover, during the day, another 14 persons in the state died due to COVID-19, thereby taking the death tally of Assam to 735.
