165 tests +ve in Assam on Thursday; 177 patients discharged
Active cases 3,505 in Assam
Dec. 3: On Thursday, out of 28,008 tests 165 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 2,13,336 out of which, 3,505 are active cases. The positivity rate in the state is 0.59 percent.
On Thursday, 177 patients were discharged in Assam. With this, a total of 2,08,843 patients got cured and were subsequently discharged from various hospitals and Covid Care centres across the state. This was confirmed in a tweet by State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
Further, during the day, 02 more patients died in Assam due to COVID-19. The death tally in the state now stands at 985.
