14 found Covid+ve in Karimganj & 6 in Hailakandi on Wednesday

Feb. 2: On Wednesday, Hailakandi registered 06 new COVID-19 case. The district has altogether has 87 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 611 RAT tests and 33 RT-PCR tests were done. 11 patients were discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 9,242 (1st, 2nd & 3rd wave).

As of now, a total of 5,628 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that 08 persons were found positive in Hailakandi on Tuesday. Till date, 55 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district.  A total of 428 persons were vaccinated on Wednesday.

Karimganj registered 14 fresh COVID case on Wednesday. The district has currently 154 active COVID cases, while 64 patients were discharged on Wednesday. 629 swab samples were collected during the day. It needs mention here that 29 persons were detected positive in Karimganj on Tuesday.
