131 tests Covid-19 +ve in Assam on Wednesday, 177 discharged & 2 deaths registered

Dec 15: On Wednesday, out of 31,849 tests, 131 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 6,18,988. The positivity rate in the state is 0.41 percent. Kamrup (Metro) district registered 55 positive cases during the day. Further, on Wednesday, 02 died in the state due to COVID-19. The death toll in the state stands at 6,137. The recovery rate is 98.62 percent. Also, 177 patients were discharged during the day. At present, there are 1,074 active cases in the state.

It needs mention here that on Tuesday, 141 persons tested positive in Assam and 02 deaths were registered.
