13 more students of Assam evacuated from Ukraine by MEA

March 1:  Thirteen more students from Assam stranded in Ukraine have been evacuated by the Ministry of External Affairs on Tuesday. They have arrived at New Delhi today and were received by officials from Assam Bhawan, Delhi. At present they have put up at Assam Bhawan in Delhi. Their onward journey will be arranged by the Government of Assam.

Taking to his twitter handle on Tuesday, Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, “A Govt That Cares! Grateful to Hon PM @narendramodiji for expeditious evacuation of our children. 13 more students of Assam evacuated from Ukraine by @MEAIndia. They’re housed at Assam Bhawan in Delhi before their onward journey to Assam, arranged by State Govt.”
