13 found Covid +ve in Assam, 59 discharged & no death registered on Monday

Feb. 28: On Monday, out of 3,356 tests, only 13 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 7,24,123. The positivity rate in the state is 0.39 percent. Kamrup (Metro) district registered 10 positive cases during the day. Further, on Monday, none died in the state due to COVID-19. The death toll in the state stands at 6,638. The recovery rate is 98.87 percent. Also,59 persons were discharged during the day. There are at present 222 active Covid patients in the state.

It needs mention here that on Sunday, 11 persons tested positive in Assam and no death was registered.
