13 cadres of All Adivasi National Liberation Army lays down arms at Bokajan in Assam

May 8: Continuing the peace march, a total of 13 cadres of All Adivasi National Liberation Army (AANLA) have surrendered today at Bokajan Police Station in Karbi Anglong district of Assam in presence of officials of Assam Police, Assam Rifles & 20Bn CRPF. They have also laid down arms & ammunition. Sharing his reaction, Assam chief minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma on Sunday stated that it’s another step ahead in the march of maintaining peace and tranquility in the state of Assam.
