12 more tests +ve, total COVID-19 cases mount to 526 in Assam
Active cases 457 in the state
May 25: Another 12 persons were tested COVID-19 positive in Assam. Out of them, 9 are from Lakhimpur and 3 from Sivasagar. State health Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma in a tweet stated that swabs for testing taken before people sent for quarantine. With this, the total number of COVID-19 cases in Assam has gone up to 526. The number of active cases in Assam now stands at 457. On Monday alone, till filing of this report at 8.40 PM, a total of 134 persons were infected with coronavirus in various parts of the state.
