119 tests Covid-19 +ve in Assam on Wednesday, 130 discharged & 2 deaths registered

Dec. 22: On Wednesday, out of 30,585 tests, 119 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 6,19,819. The positivity rate in the state is 0.39 percent. Kamrup (Metro) district registered 65 positive cases during the day. Further, on Wednesday, 02 died in the state due to COVID-19. The death toll in the state stands at 6,152. The recovery rate is 98.64 percent. Also, 130 patients were discharged during the day. At present, there are 922 active cases in the state.

It needs mention here that on Tuesday, 114 persons tested positive in Assam and 01 death was registered.
