106 tests +ve in Assam on Thursday; 124 patients discharged

Dec. 17: On Thursday, out of 23,600 tests, 106 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 2,15,148 out of which, 3,523 are active cases. The positivity rate in the state is 0.45 percent.

On Thursday, 124 patients were discharged in Assam. With this, a total of 2,10,612 patients got cured and were subsequently discharged from various hospitals and Covid Care centres across the state. This was confirmed in a tweet by State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
Further, during the day, 03 more patients died in Assam from Cachar district due to COVID-19. The death tally of the state now stands at 1010.
