1044 patients discharged in Assam on Monday

August 3: On Monday, 1044 patients were discharged from various hospitals across Assam. With this, a total of  33,428 patients were discharged from Assam till now. Further, during the day, 2371 patients were detected as COVID-19 positive. At present, there are 11,735 active cases in Assam. Another 4 deaths were also registered in the state on Monday, thereby taking the death tally to 109. In a tweet, State Health Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, “Today is another good day when more than thousand patients have recovered & met their families! Today’s discharge~ 1044. Thank you, doctors.”
