103 tests Covid +ve in Hailakandi on Sunday, 81 discharged

May 23: Hailakandi registered 103 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday. Of the 103 positive cases detected on Sunday, 94 have been found positive under Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) and 09 found positive in RT-PCR test. The district has altogether 767 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 1,760 RAT tests and 303 RT-PCR tests were done. 81 patients were discharged during the day. It needs mention here that 83 persons were found positive in Hailakandi on Saturday. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 5,260.

As of now, in the 18 plus category, 10,055 persons have received the 1st dose of the vaccine. In the 45 plus category, 50,635 have received the 1st dose of the vaccine, whereas, 14,942 have been administered the 2nd dose in Hailakandi district.
