1013 patients discharged in Assam on Wednesday

Oct. 14: On Wednesday, 1013 patients were discharged in Assam. With this, a total of 1,68,069 patients got cured and were subsequently discharged from various hospitals and Covid Care centres across the state. At present, there are 29,307 active cases in Assam. In a tweet, State health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, “1013 patients discharged today. May god bless all recovered patients and their families. Take care of your health. Have healthy food & proper rest.”

On Wednesday, 1427 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now reached 1,98,213. During the day, 1,39,868 tests were done in Assam. Moreover, during the day, another 04 persons in the state died due to COVID-19, thereby taking the death tally of Assam to 834.
