10 tests Covid +ve in Hailakandi on Monday, 21 discharged

July 12: Hailakandi registered 10 new COVID-19 cases on Monday. Of the 10 positive cases detected on Monday, 10 of them have been found positive under Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) whereas none were detected positive in RT-PCR test. The district has altogether 103 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 1,728 RAT tests and 340 RT-PCR tests were done. 21 patients were discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,632 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,107 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that 11 persons were found positive in Hailakandi on Sunday. Till date 47 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district. A total of 3,574 persons were administered the 1st dose of Covid vaccine on Monday in Hailakandi district, whereas, 296 were given the 2nd dose.
