1 week faculty development program on ‘Green Technology for Sustainable Life’ begins at NIT Silchar

July 22: AICTE Training & Learning (ATAL) sponsored one-week Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Green Technology for Sustainable Life: Indian Perspective” has begun at National Institute of Technology (NIT), Silchar on 19 July, 2021. The FDP would continue till 23 July. A total of 200 participants enrolled for this faculty development programme.

During the inaugural ceremony, the welcome address was delivered by Dr Risha Mal, Asstt Professor, Electrical Engineering, Prof Nidul Sinha gave a brief overview about the workshop, which was followed by address of HOD/EED. The Chief Guest of the occasion was Prof. Sivaji Bandyopadhyay- Director of NIT Silchar, who applauded the organisers of this FDP programme.  During this session, speeches were also delivered by Prof A K Barbhuiya, Dean (Academic) who was the Guest of Honour, Prof S. Baishya, Dean (R&C), Dr J.Balamuragan, AEE TANGEDCO. The vote of thanks was delivered by Dr Sreejith.S., Asstt Professor, Electrical Engineering, NIT, Silchar.
