1 found Covid+ve in Karimganj & none in Hailakandi on Tuesday

Nov. 30: Hailakandi is gradually inching towards a Covid free district. On Tuesday too , Hailakandi registered no new COVID-19 case. The district has altogether 02 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 476 RAT tests and 82 RT-PCR tests were done. No patients were discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,923 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,494 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that no person was found positive in Hailakandi on Monday. Till date, 51 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district.  A total of 4,538 persons were vaccinated on Tuesday.

Karimganj registered 01 fresh COVID cases on Tuesday. The district has currently 11 active COVID cases, while 01 patient was discharged from hospitals and home isolation on Tuesday. 810 swab samples were collected during the day. It needs mention here that no persons were detected positive in Karimganj on Monday.
