কাটিগড়া সীমান্ত ঘুরে দেখলেন জেলাশাসক

২৪ মার্চ : কাছাড়ের জেলাশাসক লায়া মাদ্দুরী রবিবার জেলার কাটিগড়া বিধানসভা কেন্দ্রের অন্তর্গত ভারত-বাংলাদেশ সীমান্তের কাঁটাতারের বেড়া সংলগ্ন অঞ্চল পরিদর্শন করেন। জেলাশাসকের সঙ্গে ছিলেন কাছাড়ের পুলিশ সুপার মুগ্ধজ্যোতি মহন্ত। তিনি হরিনগর সীমান্ত আউটপোস্ট এলাকা এবং নাতানপুর অঞ্চলের জনগণের সঙ্গে ওই এলাকার বিভিন্ন সমস্যা নিয়ে কথা বলেন। ওই সময়ে বিএসএফ আধিকারিকরাও উপস্থিত ছিলেন এবং তারা সীমান্তের ভারতীয় দিকের নো ম্যান্স ল্যান্ডের বিষয়ে খোঁজ-খবর নেন। জেলাশাসক মাদ্দুরী স্থানীয় জনগণকে আসন্ন নির্বাচনে তাদের ভোটাধিকার প্রয়োগ করার ওপর গুরুত্ব আরোপ করেন l

March 24: On Sunday, Laya Madduri, Deputy Commissioner Cachar inspected the law and order situation all along the Indo-Bangladesh International border. She also held a meeting with local public and BSF officials at BOP Harinagar. Laya Madduri also visited the families living ahead of the border fence at village Tukergram, Natanpur and interacted with them.
