১০ জুলাই: দুপুরেই রটনাটা শুরু হয়৷ সন্ধ্যা গড়াতেই তীব্রবেগে ছড়িয়ে পড়ে৷ বেশ সাজিয়েগুছিয়ে বলা হচ্ছে, বিশালের অনেকের করোনা৷ কেউ কেউ আর একটু যোগ করে জানান দিচ্ছিল, বিশাল মেগামার্টের সবাই করোনায় আক্রান্ত৷ স্বাস্থ্য বিভাগ সূত্রে জানা গিয়েছে, এইসব গুজবমাত্র৷ এমন কোনও ঘটনা আদৌ ঘটেনি৷ এ ছাড়া, করোনায় আক্রান্তদের যে সব তালিকা সরকারিভাবে প্রকাশ করা হয়েছে, তাতেও এমন কথার প্রমাণ মেলে না৷

July 10: A fake news related to detection of COVID-19 positive patient at Vishal Megamart in Silchar became viral in social media since Friday morning. Some even went on to write in social media that not one or two, but many employees of Vishal at Central Road, Silchar were infected with coronavirus. This post in social media by Friday evening spread like wild fire thereby creating panic among the masses. However, sources in the health department informed that this is totally a fake information. No such incident has happened till now. Moreover, the lists of COVID-19 positive patients issued officially also does not contain any such information of any person infected by COVID-19 related to Vishal.
