Lakhipur Municipal Board awarded Best Self Sustainable City in NE under less than 15k population category

way2barak, Oct.7: The Lakhipur Municipal Board was awarded the “Best Self Sustainable City in Northeast” under less than 15,000 population category. The award was received by Sudeep Nath ACS, ADC & SDO (C) i/c Lakhipur & EO, Lakhipur Municipal Board.

Also present to receive the award were Mrinal Kanti Das, Chairman, Lakhipur Municipal Board, Rabindra Singha Vice- Chairman, Lakhipur MB and Md Ibrahim Laskar, CPO Lakhipur MB from the Minister of Housing and Urban Affairs, GOI & Secretary, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Guwahati. It is for the 3rd time in a row that Lakhipur Municipal Board has received this award.
