Assam Finance Deptt invites suggestions for the upcoming state Budget
February 3: The budget session of the Assam Government is on the cards. Prior to the state budget, the Assam Finance Department has decided to take the opinion of the people of the state in this connection.
“It’s with ardent anticipation we announce that #AssamBudget2020 is going to be out soon & we invite your ideas & suggestion for the upcoming Budget,” wrote the Assam Finance Department in its official twitter handle. In the same tweet, it was further written, “We are looking forward to your valued contributions so that together we can build a stronger & a better Assam.”

Suggestions were invited through assam.mygov.in on varied subjects which may include this year’s sectors namely: Health, Education, Security & Justice, Agriculture, Environment, Industry, Infrastructure, Culture & heritage etc. The citizens can visit the Finance Department website https://finance.assam.gov.in/ to submit their views online.
