Another 17 tests +ve in Cachar on Friday, day’s total 111

২৪ জুলাইঃ: আরও ১৭ জনের পজিটিভ আসার কথা জানিয়েছে জেলা স্বাস্থ্য বিভাগ৷ ফলে শুক্রবার এ পর্যন্ত আক্রান্তের সংখ্যা দাঁড়াল ১১১৷ আগে চার দফা তালিকার উল্লেখ করেছিলেন স্বাস্থ্য বিভাগের ডিস্ট্রিক্ট মিডিয়া এক্সপার্ট সুমন চৌধুরী৷ পঞ্চম তালিকায় রয়েছেন লাবকের বেশ কয়েকজন৷

এ দিনের আক্রান্তদের মধ্যে পুলিশ সুপারের  অফিসের ৪ জন কর্মী রয়েছেন৷ পজিটিভ তালিকায় আছেন গোলদীঘি মলের কয়েকজন নিরাপত্তা রক্ষীও৷ এর চেয়ে উদ্বেগের কথা, শিলচর মেডিক্যাল কলেজের প্রসূতি ও স্ত্রীরোগ চিকিৎসা বিভাগেও রোগ সংক্রমণ ধরা পড়েছে৷ কয়েকজন প্রসূতির কোভিড টেস্টের রিপোর্ট পজিটিভ আসতেই উদ্বেগ ছড়িয়ে পড়ে৷ এখনও বিভাগীয় তরফে এর বেশি কিছু জানানো হয়নি৷ অতিরিক্ত তথ্য এলে সঙ্গে সঙ্গে তা প্রকাশ করা হবে৷

After the declaration of 4 slots and Rapid Antigen Test report, 94 more persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Cachar district on Friday. However, 17 fresh cases were reported from the district after the 5th slot was declared. With this, a total of 111 persons tested COVID-19 positive on Friday.

Out of the 94 positive cases, 4 employees of the office of Superintendent of Police, Cachar were tested positive. A few others were found positive through contact tracing. Again, some patients of the Gynaeocology Ward of Silchar Medical College & Hospital (SMCH) were also infected by coronavirus on Friday. Further, 2 security guards of Silchar Goldighi Mall were found coronavirus positive. This was disclosed by Suman Choudhury, District Media Expert on Friday night.

The District Media Expert further stated that there were some symptomatic cases which were detected on Friday. All symptomatic patients were admitted at SMCH, while the rest were sent to Palonghat Model Hospital, Cibitabichia Model Hospital, SM Dev Civil Hospital and Foreigners’ Tribunal at Rongpur.
