40 Covid deaths in Assam in last 3 days including 14 on Sunday

April 25: With a tragic turn of events, more and more people are losing their lives in Assam due to Covid-19. In the last three days, 40 persons in the state have lost their lives due to the deadly coronavirus. On Friday, 12 people sucummbed to Covid-19; Saturday recorded 14 more deaths and on Sunday again another 14 persons lost their lives in the virus attack. In the last 3 days, Kamrup Metro recorded the highest number of deaths. A total of 18 patients died due to Covid in Kamrup Metro since last Friday.

Out of the 14 deceased on Sunday, 08 are from Kamrup Metro, and 1 each from Barpeta, Dibrugarh, Kamrup Rural, Morigaon, Nalbari & Sonitpur. The death tally of the state now stands at 1,200. However, no deaths were registered in Barak valley in the last 3 days.
