None found Covid positive in Hailakandi, 1 in Karimganj on Wednesday

Oct. 27: Hailakandi is gradually inching towards a Covid free district. On Wednesday too, Hailakandi registered no new COVID-19 case. The district has altogether 08 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 384 RAT tests and 50 RT-PCR tests were done. No patient was discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,912 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,477 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that none was found positive in Hailakandi on Tuesday. Till date, 51 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district.  A total of 1,073 persons were vaccinated on Wednesday.

Karimganj registered 01 fresh COVID case on Wednesday. The district has currently 13 active COVID cases, while no patient has been discharged from hospitals and home isolation on Wednesday. 897 swab samples were collected during the day.
