11 found Covid +ve in Assam on Sunday, 2,850 active cases in the state

Way2barak, Sept.4: On Sunday, out of 421 tests, only 11 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus stands at 7,44,403. The positivity rate in the state is 2.61 percent. Out of the 11 positive cases, the high case load districts are: Kamrup Metro (06), Cachar (02), Bongaigaon (01), Goalpara (01) and Karbi Anglong (01).

Further, on Sunday, none died in the state due to COVID-19. The death toll in the state stands at 6,670. The recovery rate is 98.54 percent. 62 persons were discharged during the day. So far, 7,33,821 persons got cured and were discharged. There are at present 2,850 active Covid patients in the state.
