None found Covid positive in Hailakandi, but 1 in Karimganj on Wednesday

Oct. 6: Hailakandi is gradually inching towards a Covid free district. On Wednesday, Hailakandi registered no new COVID-19 case. The district has altogether 05 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 423 RAT tests and 41 RT-PCR tests were done. No patients were discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,895 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,467 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that 01 patient was found positive in Hailakandi on Tuesday. Till date, 51 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district.  A total of 322 persons were vaccinated on Wednesday.

Karimganj registered 01 fresh COVID cases on Wednesday. The district has currently 09 active COVID cases, while no patients has been discharged from hospitals and home isolation on Wednesday. 1,166 swab samples were collected during the day.
