1 found Covid positive in Hailakandi & none in Karimganj on Sunday

Sept. 19: Hailakandi is gradually inching towards a Covid free district. On Sunday, Hailakandi registered 01 new COVID-19 case. The district has altogether 09 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 150 RAT tests and 30 RT-PCR tests were done. 02 patients were discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,890 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,458 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that 01 person was found positive in Hailakandi on Saturday. Till date, 51 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district.

Karimganj registered no fresh COVID cases on Sunday. The district has currently 39 active COVID cases, while 09 patients has been discharged from hospitals and home isolation on Sunday. 1292 swab samples were collected during the day.
