Assam registers 735 new COVID +ve cases on Sunday, total rises to 16,806

July 12: On Sunday, a total of 735 COVID-19 positive cases were reported from across Assam. With this, the total number of coronavirus cases in the state has gone upto 16,806, out of which, 5873 are active cases. Further, 468 patients were also released on Sunday. A total of 10,894 patients have recovered in Assam till now. Sharing this information, State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in a tweet wrote, “Alert ~ 735 new #COVID ve+ cases in Assam, 400 in Guwahati alone. Awareness, Precautions, Care, Compassion ~ Key against # COVID19.”
