Leo Club of Silchar comes up with a project for the stray dogs

August 25: In an unprecedented move, Leo Club of Silchar has come up with a project for the stray dogs. On Saturday, the members of Leo Club fed around 35 stray dogs in the streets of Silchar town. The dogs were served chicken and rice along with pedigree.

While sharing her views, Leo Shrestha Paul, Public Relations Officer (PRO) of Leo Club of Silchar said, “Until one has loved an animal, a part of one’s soul remains unawakened. It is with this motive, we launched this project of feeding the stray dogs. While carrying out the project, we also ensured that we do not produce any kind of non-degradable waste. Abiding by this thought, we had used banana leaves to feed the dogs with minimal amount of waste produced.” The entire project has been sponsored by Leo Sankar Dayal Banik and Leo Arindam Goala.
