Youth arrested in Silchar for indulging in stunt biking

way2barak, Dec.23: Cachar Police arrested a stunt biker named Rukhsar Ahmed Laskar S/O Late Rafique Uddin Laskar of Itkhola, Silchar, Cachar. Police also seized two modified sports bikes from his possession. Rukhsar uploaded footages of performing motorcycle stunts on his Instagram account.

Stunt riding is gaining more and more followers every day. However, Motorcycle stunts are more dangerous because the rider only has two wheels to support him and there is always the danger of his head being heavily injured. Novices in the world or motorcycle riding and racing shouldn’t be allowed to do stunts that would endanger their safety and even their lives.

Earlier, GP Singh, Special DGP Assam in a tweeter message stated, “People of Assam are requested to inform through Direct Message about any place or persons indulging in stunt biking on a regular basis. Such displays on Social Media platforms may also be brought to notice of Assam Police.”
