Work of 1st electric crematorium complete in Karimganj: MLA Kamalakhya

August 27: The construction work of the 1st electric crematorium in Barak Valley is over. This was made inside the Brajendra Road Crematorium in Karimganj. MLA Kamalakhya Dey Purkayastha went there on Thursday and reviewed the entire process of operation of the electric crematorium. He later on informed that the electric furnace will be operational within a day. Speaking on this, the MLA said, “This would help in cremating those who have died due to coronavirus. Apart from this, the electric furnace will be of immense help and time saving in normal time also.”
