With 5 more Covid +ve cases, day’s total in Cachar rises to 13 on 13 Sept
Active cases 81 in Cachar; 22 discharged on Monday
Sept 13: The District Health Department of Cachar updated the Covid-19 data of Monday at 11.45 PM. As per the latest data, 05 more persons were detected as Coronavirus positive during the day. With this, a total of 13 persons were found positive in the district on 13 September. Earlier, at 6 PM, it was informed that 08 persons were found positive. With this, the number of active cases in Cachar has gone down to 81 This was informed by District Media Expert on Monday night. Also, 22 patients were discharged during the day. It needs mention here that on Sunday, 04 persons were detected as Covid-19 positive in Cachar.
As per the updated data, a total of 3,044 Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) were done, out of which, 05 persons were found positive, whereas 08 more were detected positive in RT-PCR Test. With this, the total number of Covid cases since 1 April, 2021 reached 19,923 whereas during this phase, 19,644 patients were discharged.
Apart from this, the district authority informed that out of the 81 active patients:
26 of them are admitted at SMCH
06 at MH
06 at SM Dev Civil Hospital
04 at Green Heals Pvt Hospital
00 at Cachar Cancer Hospital
08 at Chotodudpatil Model Hospital
37 patients are in home isolation.
The Covid-19 situation in gradually is gradually improving. There has been substantial decline in the number of daily positive cases. The last 24 hours (5 PM on 12 September to 5 PM on 13 September) did not witness the death of any Covid-19 positive patient at Silchar Medical College & Hospital (SMCH). This was informed by Dr. Bhaskar Gupta, Vice Principal of SMCH on Monday evening.
Dr Bhaskar Gupta, Vice Principal of SMCH informed that till 5 PM on 13 September, there were 25 Covid-19 active patients at Silchar Medical College. Further, 01 patient was put under ventilator support and 03 in oxygen support. In the last 24 hours, 03 Covid positive patients were admitted at SMCH and 04 of them were discharged.
