DC meets senior citizens & discusses burning issues

February 2: The new Deputy Commissioner of Cachar L. Madduri on Saturday met with the senior citizens and discussed burning issues and problems prevalent in Cachar District. The meeting was also attended by ADC Ranadip Dam. In the meeting, various problems and their probable solutions came up for discussion.

The various issued which were deliberated upon are traffic congestion, health services, drainage system. transport system, roads, problems of stamp paper etc. The solution of these problems were also suggested by the senior citizens present there.

The Deputy Commissioner assured that the district administration will take positive measures to find out plausible solution of the problems highlighted by all.

Present during the meet were Taimur Raja Chouhand Sanjib Deb laskar on behalf of Barak Upottaka Banga Sahitya O Sanskriti Sammelan, General Secretary of District Congress Sujan Dutta, BJP leader Uday Shankar Goswami, Mridul Majumdar, Bithika Acharjee, Sandipan Endow, Dulal Mitra, Babul Hore, Prof. N.B. Dey among others.
