66 Covid deaths in Assam in last 3 days including 22 on Thursday

April 29: With a tragic turn of events, more and more people are losing their lives in Assam due to Covid-19. In the last three days, 66 persons in the state have lost their lives due to the deadly coronavirus. On 27 April, 18 people succumbed to Covid-19, 28 April again recorded 22 more deaths and on 29 April another 26 persons lost their lives in the virus attack.

Out of the 26 deceased on Thursday, 15 are from Kamrup Metro, 03 from Jorhat; 2 from Cachar and 1 each from Bongaingaon, Chirang, Darrang, Dhemaji and Kokhrajhar. The death tally of the state now stands at 1,281.
