UGC-NET May exam postponed due to Covid-19
April 20: The UGC- National Eligibility Test (NET) which was scheduled to be held from May 2 has been postponed in the wake of the spike in coronavirus cases in the country. The revised dates for the exam will be announced later, atleaset 15 days before the examination. Taking to his twitter handle, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank wrote, “Keeping in mind the safety & well-being of candidates and exam functionaries during #covid19outbreak, I have advised @DG_NTA to postpone the UGC-NET Dec 2020 cycle (May 2021) exams.”
