দু’সপ্তাহের ক্যাপাসিটি বিল্ডিং প্রোগ্রাম আয়োজিত আসাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে

ওয়ে টু বরাক, ১ ফেব্রুয়ারি : আসাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের বাণিজ্য প্রশাসন বিভাগের উদ্যোগে ও নতুন দিল্লির আইসিএসএসআরের আর্থিক সহায়তায় আয়োজিত হলো দুই সপ্তাহের গবেষণা পদ্ধতি বিষয়ক ‘ক্যাপাসিটি বিল্ডিং প্রোগ্রাম। গবেষণা নকশা, তথ্য বিশ্লেষণ, শৈক্ষিক লিখন ও উদীয়মান গবেষণা কাঠামো—এই বিষয়গুলিকে কেন্দ্র করে আয়োজিত কর্মসূচিতে মণিপুর, নাগাল্যান্ড, অরুণাচল প্রদেশ, মেঘালয়, ওডিশা, মধ্যপ্রদেশ, মহারাষ্ট্র, উত্তরাখণ্ড, দিল্লি, উত্তরপ্রদেশ, পশ্চিমবঙ্গ, ত্রিপুরা, ছত্তিশগড় সহ ১৪টি রাজ্য থেকে মোট ৩০ জন অংশগ্রহণকারী যোগ দেন।

এই কর্মসূচির কোর্স ডিরেক্টর ছিলেন জওহরলাল নেহরু স্কুল অব বিজনেস অ্যাডমিনিস্ট্রেশনের ডিন অধ্যাপক এইচ রামানন্দ সিং ও কো-ডিরেক্টর হিসেবে দায়িত্ব পালন করেন ওই বিভাগের সহযোগী অধ্যাপক ড. দীপজ্যোতি চৌধুরী। কর্মসূচিতে মোট ৩৬টি বিদ্যায়তনিক অধিবেশন আয়োজিত হয়। এতে দেশের বিভিন্ন বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় ও শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানের ১৮ জনেরও বেশি রিসোর্স পার্সন অংশ নেন। দিল্লি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়, জামিয়া মিলিয়া ইসলামিয়া, নেহু, মিজোরাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়, কে কে হ্যান্ডিক বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়, মণিপুর বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়, নাগাল্যান্ড বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়, গৌহাটি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়, ডিব্রুগড় বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় ও আসাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের বিশেষজ্ঞরা অধিবেশন পরিচালনা করেন।

গবেষণা নকশা, গুণগত ও পরিমাণগত পদ্ধতি, স্যাম্পলিং, হাইপোথিসিস টেস্টিং, পরিসংখ্যানগত টুল ব্যবহার করে তথ্য বিশ্লেষণ, গবেষণায় কৃত্রিম বুদ্ধিমত্তা, বৌদ্ধিক সম্পত্তি অধিকার, গবেষণা নৈতিকতা, এনইপি ২০২০-এর উদ্যোগ, শৈক্ষিক লিখন ও পেপার ক্লিনিক ওয়ার্কশপ ছিল আলোচ্য বিষয়ের মধ্যে। পাশাপাশি এসপিএসএস ও ভিওএস ভিউয়ারে ব্যবহারিক প্রশিক্ষণ, গ্রন্থাগার ও ই-রিসোর্স ওরিয়েন্টেশন, ফিল্ড এক্সপোজার এবং ইন্টারঅ্যাকটিভ আলোচনা কর্মসূচির উল্লেখযোগ্য অংশ ছিল।

প্রসঙ্গত, গত ১৯ জানুয়ারি থেকে এই কর্মসূচি শুরু হয়। চলে ৩০ জানুয়ারি পর্যন্ত। উপাচার্য অধ্যাপক রাজীব মোহন পন্থের দিকনির্দেশনায় ও নিবন্ধক ড. প্রদোষ কিরণ নাথের প্রশাসনিক সহযোগিতায় আয়োজিত এই কর্মসূচিতে সক্রিয় ভূমিকা পালন করেন বিভাগীয় প্রধান অধ্যাপক দেবমাল্য ঘোষ সহ বিভাগীয় অন্য অধ্যাপক-অধ্যাপিকারাও। এক প্রেস বিবৃতিতে এখবর জানিয়েছেন কর্মসূচির কো-ডিরেক্টর ড. দীপজ্যোতি চৌধুরী।

Way2barak, February 1 : A two-week Capacity Building Programme on Research Methodology was organised by the Department of Business Administration, Assam University, with financial support from the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), New Delhi. The programme focused on research design, data analysis, academic writing, and emerging research frameworks. A total of 30 participants from 14 states—Manipur, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Uttarakhand, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Tripura, Chhattisgarh, and others—took part in the programme.

The Dean of the Jawaharlal Nehru School of Business Administration, Prof. H Ramananda Singh, served as the Course Director, while Associate Professor Dr. Deepjyoti Choudhury of the department acted as the Co-Director. As many as 36 academic sessions were conducted during the programme, with participation from over 18 resource persons representing universities and academic institutions across the country. Experts from Delhi University, Jamia Millia Islamia, North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU), Mizoram University, K.K. Handique State Open University, Manipur University, Nagaland University, Gauhati University, Dibrugarh University, and Assam University conducted the sessions.

Key topics covered included research design, qualitative and quantitative methods, sampling techniques, hypothesis testing, data analysis using statistical tools, artificial intelligence in research, intellectual property rights, research ethics, initiatives under NEP 2020, academic writing, and paper clinic workshops. Practical training on SPSS and VOSviewer, library and e-resource orientation, field exposure, and interactive discussions were also integral parts of the programme.

The programme commenced on January 19 and concluded on January 30. It was organised under the guidance of Vice-Chancellor Prof. Rajive Mohan Pant, with administrative support from Registrar Dr. Pradosh Kiran Nath. The Head of the Department, Professor Debamalya Ghosh, along with other faculty members, played an active role in the successful conduct of the programme.
